The Pyracantha is out in flower and growing madly. It was only a small plant when it was set, but has taken over a large part of the fence now. It should provide cover for small animals and birds soon.

This is one of the hostas I am fond of. I rather like the colour of the leaves.

The lilies are out all together this year. They look fantastic (click to enlarge):

p.s. you can just see the rose peering out from behind.

This is my new clematis – Clematis ‘Vyvyan Pennell’. It’s really beautiful when fully open and apparently is only one of a few that hold their blooms upwards.

The buds are really big as you can see from those poking their heads round the flower. I will move them today so they can have their own space for glory.

I cant wait to see these come out.

It must be tasty as it’s partly eaten.
