FRESHER FAIR.
So you’ve come to cast off cares
To while away the sleeping hours
Outside a hideaway of liquid tears
Sup again forget the morning’s toil.
Think of the things that surround you
The missive for peace of mind
The resemblance of home
Outside the window the real world awaits.
And sweet julie brown hopes time wont wait
Along comes the world giving fool
And he poor Ian brave has a dream
That all is free including love.
How does the feeling of commonplace
Rest in this mind tonight
If you catch a tear, you hold a heart
Strange how a sigh feels like heavy lifting
And the pain of losing like a windy day
Coping is an albatross to stroke.
These forgetting days come and go
Replaced by tired eyes, empty minds
A refreshers fair for chosen – where is choice.
